Master of Storms follows the story of Terran, a boy raised as a human who has just found out he is a Mage. Mages are a race of half-elf, half-human hybrids, and there are four different kinds of Mages: Earth Mages, Water Mages, Air Mages and Fire Mages, that help control the Earth's weather and keep balance in nature. The leader of the Mages is called the Master of Storms, who is supposed to lead with humility and fairness, but the current MoS is power-hungry and corrupt, so the council calls the Challenge, where eight Mages compete for the title of MoS.           Terran, inexperienced as he is with this magical world, finds himself competing in the Challenge and in the middle of a fight he's not sure was his to begin with.
